Improving high school students' performance in basic calculus using the Enhancing Mastery & Expertise in Mathematics supplementary material

 Preparing K-12 students to gear up for higher mathematics and sciences, be more mathematically college-ready, teachers were given the essential role in bridging learning gaps. One way address this was utilization of modules. The researcher developed Enhancing Mastery & Expertise Mathematics (EM&EM) module Basic Calculus. objective quasi-experimental research evaluate effectiveness EM&EM improving students' performance about theorems differentiation. experimental comparison groups comprised forty-six (46) Grade 11 who used DepEd module, respectively. instruments study pretest, formative tests, posttest found module. Mean standard deviation describe student these assessments. To see if a significant difference existed, test scores between two analyzed using an independent t-test, while pretest within each group paired sample t-test. findings showed that groups' tests did not differ significantly, although former generally performed better when their mean compared. However, there scores, had large positive effect on improvement. Therefore, just like effective facilitating process. Overall, significantly substantially enhanced Calculus.
